20 years ago, the first batch of instant noodles was produced under the yet unknown name Rollton in a factory near Moscow, Russia. The brand gradually grew and developed, taking its place in the Russian food market, and later the markets abroad step by step.
Today, the Rollton brand is known in 33 countries of the world, and it is so widely recognized that its name has already become a common name.
Over the past 20 years new factories have been built and now Rollton is not only instant noodles, but a brand of 150 types of products. All the finished products in stock Mareven Food Central make up to 2 million boxes, or about 50 million packs of products. This number can feed more than one third of the population of Russia.
Mr. Do Xuan Hoang, the General Director of Mareven Food Central, one of the co-founders of the company and the Rollton brand, shared his story of creating a brand and his emotions:
"Rollton" was created in a period when the country just got out of the economy deficit. In an era of change and new opportunities, we came up with a new, ambitious brand that consisted of quality, like ROLLS-Royce and affordability, like LipTON which in summary gives you Rollton. We introduced it to the Russian market and created a completely new category of food, which is now available to millions of people. Looking back at this long way, I will say — I am proud of our team and our company.”
