On March 21st, 2019, Mareven Food Central took part in the 5th Russian nationwide Scientific and Practical Conference of the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) in Kazan. The topic of both business and government discussion was “The competition in the digital age”.
Representatives of government agencies, large regional companies, independent experts and journalists were invited to participate in the event.
The business that were presented at the conference consisted of: the largest regional diesel truck and diesel engine manufacturer KAMAZ, halal products manufacturer Ali Suleymanov and Mareven Food Central Ltd., represented by leading legal adviser Niyaz Fatkhrakhmanov, who presented a report on “Legal regulation of electronic commerce and digital means of product promotion”. Niyaz spoke in an understandable and laconic form about the latest trends in the FMCG (Fast moving consumer goods) market, about Mareven as general and about our strategy in the field of “business digitalization”, paying attention to the problems and difficulties in the sphere of legal regulation that impede the implementation of this strategy.
The audience listened to the report attentively and with interest, and later asked questions, which indicates that the problems discussed in the material were recognized by the audience.
